Welcome to the 2023 Blue Thunder Water Polo Camp

The 2024 Blue Thunder Masters Water Polo Club Camp is a camp not to be missed.  The BT camp is suited for for Masters level water polo players, ages 40+  

Camp is being held in Manhattan Beach, CA at Mira Costa High School. 

Pool Information: Mira Costa High School, 1401 Artesia Blvd. Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

(Parking available on S. Meadows Ave, west of the pool.)

Session Dates and Times:

• Day 1 (Friday, March 15): 6:30 PM- 9:00 PM 
• Day 2 (Saturday, March 16): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM; Session 3: 3:00 PM- 5:30 PM 
• Saturday 3/11- Camp Social / Dinner TBA
• Day 3 (Sunday, March 17): 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  

Greg Enloe is returning as the head coach.  Greg and his staff will target the  skills and drills for Master level players as well as continue to build  teamwork within the different age-group teams.

The fee structure for the 2024 Camp will be:

Camp Fee = $290.00* 

Annual BT Membership Dues of $35.00 payable separately

Enloe Academy:  Coach Greg Enloe provides Blue Thunder players with critical drills,  skills, and  game strategies that are the focus of every Blue Thunder Camp. This information is available on the Enloe Academy website.

Be Ready for Camp by studying and implementing these concepts in your own practices.

Recommended workout schedule

In addition to any water polo practices, you should be swimming minimum of 3 times per week.

In late Jan . through mid-Feb., swim workouts @ minimum of 2500 yds./2300 meters per session.

From mid-Feb. to start of Camp, swim workouts @ minimum of 3000 yds./2800 meters per session.

Add dry land or weight training into your routine for cross-training and to build additional strength. 

Remember to add stretching to your workouts. Flexibility helps reduce injury.
